Security grade 3

Easy installation and variability

The picture continuous surveillance system Ladon is intended to secure a large scale of all works of art suspended on walls in museums and galleries. Typical objects are paintings and tapestries. The system gives warning when the object is touched, moved or removed. A principle that the system is based on makes possible to secure works of arts especially when exhibition halls or museums are open to the public.

The system is composed from two fractions - complex of detectors (JNK) and a evaluation unit (MRK) for transmitting the state to the superior system - both placed in support rail. It supports the suspended works of art and also hides parts of system. The secured object is suspended with a thin stainless steel wire to a detector. There is possibility to connect control panels with an unknown protocol through a special unit - so any control panel can use the system Ladon. There is also a dummy hook intended for a two point suspention or suspention of less valuable works of art in the exhibition hall. It looks like a detector installed in a support rail.

There are two variants of the system - full addressed and without addressing. The full addressed variant transmits data which detector has caused an alarm. The non-addressed variant transmits only an alarm. An identification of the detector that caused an alarm is possible by enabling memory function of all detectors. The both variants can give a local sound alarm which volume is adjustable.

The connection cables are secured by the system so an interruption or a short circuit of any cable conductor cause an alarm. Furthemore the covers of detectors, the evaluation unit and the cover of a support rail are supervised by contacts.
